How to Measure Bay Windows
Bay window measurements
Step 1 Identify what type of window you have

Please select what type of bay window you have

  1. square bay
  2. 3 window (50 pence shape) bay
  3. 5 windows or more bay window
Step 2 Identify what type of blind you would like to put on your window (for wood venetians we will need the colour and slat size as well).

Once you have established steps 1 and 2 please follow the instructions relevant to your type of window and required product.

Vertical blinds

Square bay

You will have to measure tight corner to corner windows A, B ,C and then.

For 89mm slats you will deduct 25mm of measurement A and 76mm of each of B and C measurements.

For 127m slats you will deduct 25mm of measurement A and 89mm of each of B and C measurements.

The drop will be from the ceiling to window sill/floor or from where you would like the blind to hang from to where you would like it to finish and always select inside recess option. (we will make more allowances to make sure the blinds do not overlap).

You will have to measure tight corner to corner windows A, B ,C and then.

For 89mm slats you will deduct 25mm of the measurement A and 38mm of each of B and C measurements.

For 127mm slats you will deduct 25mm of the measurement A and 44mm of each of B and C measurements.

The drop will be from the ceiling to window sill/floor or from where you would like the blind to hang from to where you would like it to finish and always select inside recess option. (we will make more allowances to make sure the blinds do not overlap).

Other bay - please follow the instructions for the rest of the blinds after you found out the depth of the headrail.
