  How to Measure Roman Blinds:

Step 1.
Check that there are no central heating pipes, door handles or window latches and other obstacles in the way.

Step 2.
Will the product be installed inside the recess or outside the recess?

If the product is to be hung inside the recess:
Measure the width of the frame both at the top and the bottom. Measure the length of the frame both left and right. Order the smallest measured width and height sizes (in mm)

If the product is to be hung outside the recess
Measure the width of the frame both at the top and the bottom. Measure the length of the frame both left and right. Order the smallest measured width and height sizes (in mm)

Step 3.
When ordering a Roman Shade, take into account the bundle height of approx. 25 cm with respect to opening/closing the door or window.

N.B
The result obtained from multiplying width and height can exceed the maximum surface area (see the table under Taking measurements)

Indicate if a number of blinds will be hanging side by side, with regard to the continuity of the segments and the pattern drop. If the blinds are of different drops, you should indicate whether the segments must match at the top or at the bottom.

An international shrink tolerance of 2% to 3% applies on fabric for Roman and Austrian blinds. Polyester will shrink the least.

Not suitable for damp areas.

It is not possible to have a deviating segment length or flounce length.

If neither recess size nor blind size is given, the blind will be produced to recess size as standard.

Inside recess size:
A clearance allowance (10-12mm) is made in manufacture of the blind for the height and/or the width, so that the product hangs free in the recess. This is particularly important in this case.

Outside recess size:
The product is supplied exactly to the size that has been ordered. Make sure of the allowances yourself, so that the product will hang freely in the frame!
