Bay Window Measurements for Shutters

Check for protruding objects such as handles to determine where the shutters will be placed. Also take into account that the depth of the frame is of 50mm and that when open, the shutter louvres may protrude the edge of the frame.

Cut out cardboard templates that will represent the measurements of the shutter frame. Depending on the type of bay window, you will need to cut one pair for each shutter to be installed.

Place them on the window sill where the shutters should be and measure between the outer edges of the cardboard templates to find out the necessary width.

NOTE: Please make sure the cardboard templates touch when measuring.
